Medicare pays 80% and secondary insurance plans may pay most of the remaining 20%. You only pay your deductible or co-pay…. if any.
We will verify your Medicare and secondary insurance coverages. We file all claims electronically; make a complicated process easy and convenient for you. We even contact your doctor to obtain medical authorization.
MedWise is a Medicare Participating Provider.
Not all suppliers are participating providers. Participating providers enter into a contract (Participating Provider Agreement) with the Medicare Part B program. This means we agree to accept Medicare assignment for all covered services provided to all Medicare participants who have Medicare coverage. A participating provider agrees to bill only for any applicable co-insurance or deductibles, and accept the Medicare reimbursement as payment in full. Medicare usually pays 80% of the approved amount directly to the provider after the beneficiary meets the annual Part B deductible.
**ALERT** You may have to pay more for your supplies if you use a supplier or pharmacy that is a non-participating provider with Medicare.
